LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS: South Whidbey Candidate Forum
The League of Women Voters Whildbey Island (LWVWI) hosted a forum for candidates in South Whidbey from 6:30 to 8:30 PM on Thursday, October 7, 2021. The forum consisted of three segments: South Whidbey Fire/EMS Commissioners, Langley City Council members, and South Whidbey School District Directors. In each segment, candidates were asked a series of questions and then each candidate gave a closing statement.

NOTE: While LWVWI invited all candidates to participate in the forum, several did not attend. School District Director candidates Dawn Tarantino, Farrah Manning Davis, and Bree Kramer-Nelson chose to attend a community meet-and-greet instead.

- Position 1 – Larry Metz (Incumbent)
- Position 3 – Savannah Erickson vs Jim Towers
On the Ballot in November 2021 – Langley City Council:
- Position 1 – Kay Kenneweg vs Harolynne Bobis –Incumbent Christy Korrow not running
- Position 2 – Rhonda Salerno running unopposed – Incumbent Dominique Emerson not running
- Position 5 – Tony Gill vs Gail Fleming – Incumbent Peter Morton not running
On the Ballot in November 2021 – South Whidbey School Board:
- Position 2 – Incumbent Andrea Downs vs Dawn Tarantino
- Position 4 – Incumbent Marnie Jackson vs Farrah Manning Davis
- Position 5 – Incumbent Ann Johnson vs Bree Kramer-Nelson
