In the 2023-24 term, State Representative Dave Paul (D-Oak Harbor) represents Democrats on three House committees. He is the Vice Chair of the Transportation committee and is a member of both the Innovation, Community & Economic Development & Veterans committee and the Postsecondary & Workforce committee. Rep. Paul is also the Deputy Majority Floor Leader.

UPDATE: Apr. 15, 2023: As we enter the final week of the session, most activity has come to a halt in the various committees. The House Appropriations committee has a meetings on Monday and Tuesday, and a few policy committees are holding work sessions or planning for the interim. Most of the action will be on the floor of the House for debates and votes on “initiatives, alternatives to initiatives, budgets and matters necessary to implement budgets, matters that affect state revenue, messages pertaining to amendments, differences ​between the houses, and matters incident to the interim and closing of the session”.
