LEGISLATURE 2023-24: Committee hearings for Rep. Dave Paul, Feb. 27-Mar. 5, 2023 (VIP)
In the 2023-24 term, State Representative Dave Paul (D-Oak Harbor) represents Democrats on three House committees. He is the Vice Chair of the Transportation committee and is a member of both the Innovation, Community & Economic Development & Veterans committee and the Postsecondary & Workforce committee. Rep. Paul is also the Deputy Majority Floor Leader.
Feb. 26, 2023: Last Friday was the Fiscal Committee Cutoff. This was the final deadline for committees to report out their bills. Any bill that did not make it out of committee is effectively dead until next year. The House will now debate the surviving bills. The next deadline is the House of Origin Cutoff at 5:00 PM on Wed., Mar. 8. In the meantime, a few committees will meet to review bills passed by the Senate.
