State Representative Dave Paul (D-Oak Harbor) sent out the following email from his campaign account on Sat., Jul. 29, 2023.

Dear Friends,

As your representative, I’ve focused on policies to protect our quality of life and better ensure that all members of our community can prosper.

As we work to make our state a better place to live, we need leaders who listen and champion policies that matter most to our community, like improving ferry serviceexpanding broadband, and protecting rural healthcare.

I believe that I’m that kind of leader, and I’m asking for your help today to support our reelection campaign.

[Ed. Note: Donation button omitted here.]

Simply put, our district will be the #1 target of MAGA conservatives who desperately want to flip this seat.

You saw the attacks last year, and we need to be prepared for the attacks that we both know are coming.

I don’t make asks very often. Today, I’m making that ask. Let’s show outside interests that want to buy the next election that we have a true grassroots campaign that supports leaders who take the time to listen to their constituents and advocate on their behalf.

I need 40 donations this weekend to stay on track to return to Olympia. Please donate today.

[Ed. Note: Donation button omitted here.]

I’m excited to get back to Olympia and continuing our work to address climate change, protect women’s reproductive rights, and ensure election integrity

As always, it’s an honor to serve.

Sincerely,

Dave
