Dear neighbors,
The 2023 Legislative Session began last week, and I’m excited to get to work and advocate for our district.
It’s very important to me to hear directly from constituents and local groups to learn what issues and priorities are most important to you and our community. Over the last four years, I’ve pushed hard to make it easy for you to get informed, get involved, and share your thoughts about issues.
I’m happy to report that our efforts were successful, and the Legislative process is now much more accessible for everyone to participate.
Today you can testify in committee remotely, watch every vote on the House or Senate floor, and participate in virtual town halls. You can share your thoughts on legislation with lawmakers by email, phone, or regular mail.
Every time we give people more options to take part in their democracy, we improve it. That’s why I encourage people to contact me with their comments, questions, and ideas.
The House and Senate will tackle big problems this session—including housing affordability and public safety—and that work will be better because the foundations of our democracy are strong.
As always, it is an honor to serve as your representative. I hope to hear from you soon!
