Mock Interview Day returns! Community professionals needed and students encouraged to sign up
Stanwood High School’s Career & Technical Education (CTE) department will host its annual Mock Interview Day this winter, giving students a chance to practice interviewing in a supportive, no-stress setting while learning directly from local professionals and community leaders.
Students receive real-time feedback, résumé tips, and guidance that helps build confidence and career-ready skills.
We are currently seeking business and community volunteers to spend part of the day conducting brief, 10-minute mock interviews and sharing constructive feedback using provided questions and a simple rubric. No advance preparation needed.
Your experience can make a lasting impact by helping students understand what employers look for and how to present themselves professionally. We have space for up to 40 volunteers per session, and about 20 community members have already raised their hands to help.
👉 Students: Participation requires signing up through SchooLinks
