Our school community is grateful to receive two grants from the Stanwood-Camano Area Foundation — part of 17 recently awarded that total more than $97,500 to local organizations.
The funds were awarded from SCAF’s Floyd & Delores Jones Endowment Fund, the purpose of which is to help create a healthy and sustainable Stanwood-Camano community.
The school district received one grant for a PowerLift Changing Table at Stanwood Middle School, and the Stanwood High Band Booster Club received a grant to buy a Soprano Saxophone for the SHS Band Program.
