A north-end homeowner discovered that the hard way this afternoon when their weed-burning torch sparked a small (but intense) brush fire.
Crews extinguished the blaze before it could spread to the nearby garden shed. They used a thermal imaging camera to identify any lingering hotspots and ensure the fire didn’t reignite.
