Our crews in LA wanted to say hello and give you a quick update.
They’ve been primarily working on structure protection for the Encino and Palisades fires. That means they’re going around to structures, checking for hot spots and flare-ups, and putting out anything they find. Cpt. Mezzone said they’ve gotten tons of support from the community and are making lots of progress with containment on the fire.
They’re working 24-hour shifts with 24 hours off in between. We expect to have them back home by this Sunday, Jan. 26.
