We responded to a call of spilled muriatic acid at the Camano Plaza Ace this morning.
Employees safely evacuated the store. Our crews neutralized and cleaned up the material. Less than a gallon was spilled.
No injuries were reported and the store was able to reopen within an hour.
Muriatic acid (also known as hydrochloric acid) is a fairly common product that can be used for industrial & commercial cleaning and to adjust pH levels in swimming pools.
