Last week, Island County was pleased to host Governor-elect Ferguson and his transition transportation subcommittee at the Clinton Community Hall. Ferguson has made it very clear that he will prioritize restoring our ferry fleet and workforce a top priority. As an appointed member of the subcommittee, I was honored to organize this event so our riders, ferry advisory committees, chambers, and local officials could gather to speak about the importance of ferries to local communities.
