Congratulations to all our talented Drama Club members for their outstanding achievements and for representing Oak Harbor High School with passion and excellence at the recent WA State Thespian Festival in Seattle! Over two exciting days, students participated in workshops led by theatre professionals, watched performances from other schools, and showcased their own talents—earning several prestigious awards including:
Gold Honor Troupe, a distinction awarded to troupes that excel in production, participation, and community outreach
Speed Date by Janet Allard, originally performed in November and directed by seniors Dana Rivo and Drama Club President
Adriana Froman, received a superior rating and was named Best of Fest in the One-Act Marathon category.
A condensed version of A Trip to the Moon by Tracy Wells, adapted from their February production, also earned a superior rating and won Best of Fest in the Main Stage Comedy category.
