LEGISLATURE 2025-26 / DAVE PAUL: Gifts from the Heart Food Bank ribbon cutting

Food insecurity and the lack of workforce housing significantly impact many throughout our district. Community leaders in Coupeville have tackled both issues with the Gifts from the Heart Food Bank. Their food bank is located on the first floor while two affordable housing units are above. I worked with Rep. Clyde Shavers to help secure state funding. It was terrific to attend the ribbon cutting and celebrate all of the hard work that went into this project!
