ALE Restoration Project!
This year our ALE 3rd-5th grade Community action project has been working with the Whidbey Camano Land Trust to restore a site at Trillium Community Trails. Students have worked with Taylor Schmucki for four weeks, removing tons of invasive blackberries. Students have alhad an opportunity to learn about site restoration as well as the other restoration work being done at Trillium. This week students worked to plant over 100 trees, protecting them and mulching them.
