Photos from South Whidbey School District’s post

The South Whidbey School District posted this to its Facebook page on 2026-01-29 08:10:03.

On January 22 at 7:00pm, our choir students shared a special Friends and Family concert that showcased not only their musical talent, but their independence and collaboration. The program featured a wide-ranging repertoire, including Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, Drops of Jupiter, I’m Almost There, Iris, Toxic, Kiss Me, Part of Your World, Honey, Honey, and many more.

For some students, this was their very first time performing; for others, it was a familiar stage. What made the evening especially meaningful was that this choir is a highly self-directed course. Students took the lead in selecting their music, organizing rehearsals, and shaping the interpretation of each piece.

The concert was a true reflection of their dedication, creativity, and teamwork, and we couldn’t be more proud of what they accomplished together. The choir’s next performance will be open to a larger audience in April (exact date TBA).

Great job Falcons!
