The Stanwood Elementary community turned generosity into action today as students walked donations from their annual food drive to the Stanwood Camano Food Bank & Thrift Store.

Their effort reflects the same community strength we see across our schools: students learning what it means to care for others, take initiative, and make a real difference close to home.

If your family could use support, or if you know someone who might, resources are always available:

🍏 The Food Bank is open Wednesdays, 3-7 p.m., and Fridays, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
🍏 Weekend food support is available through the Food Bank’s Meals ’til Monday program: stanwoodcamanofoodbank.org
🍏 Families can still complete the district’s Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application to maintain access to meal benefits at school: https://www.stanwood.wednet.edu/departments/food-services/free-and-reduced-price-meal-program
