Utsalady Elementary and Cedarhome Elementary turned into engineering hubs this week as the Pacific Science Center Science on Wheels program brought a full day of hands-on STEM learning to both schools!

The experience began Thursday at Utsalady and continued Friday at Cedarhome, with a schoolwide assembly introducing students to the many types of engineers who design and build the world around us. From civil engineers creating bridges to mechanical engineers developing robots, students learned how problem-solving and creativity are key to bringing big ideas to life.

Throughout the day, classrooms buzzed with activity as students rotated through interactive exhibits focused on gears, circuits, structures, and robotics. Each station challenged students to collaborate, test designs, and refine their creations — sparking curiosity and critical thinking at every grade level.

Thank you to the Utsalady Booster Club and the Cedarhome PTO for making these incredible learning experiences possible. Opportunities like these empower our students to explore, create, and dream big!
