It’s been a productive few days for our Stanwood FFA students! At the recent Sub-District Leadership Development Event at Snohomish High School, several students earned top spots and are heading to Districts with hopes of qualifying for State:
Lily Chain – 2nd, Creed
Hunter Sparrow – 2nd, Extemporaneous Speaking
Stella Nelson – 1st, Extemporaneous Speaking
Emma Reid – 5th, Creed
Meanwhile, our Stanwood Ag Mechanics team placed 1st out of 11 teams at the District 1 Contest! 
Carson Nguyen took the top spot in the individual category, and Joe Romano finished third.
A huge thank you to our community members who helped Stanwood High host the ag mechanics competition and judge skill areas, which tested students in welding, forklift operation, electrical wiring, small gas engines, concrete work, wall framing, and more!
Way to go, Stanwood FFA!
