Our third-grade swim program continues this spring, giving every third-grader in the district the chance to build essential water safety skills — for free — thanks to our partnership with the Stanwood-Camano YMCA.
Right now, students from Cedarhome Elementary are making waves with personalized lessons led by skilled YMCA instructors. Each class gets five days in the pool, with 45-minute sessions tailored to student skill levels and supported by multiple instructors.
No YMCA membership is needed, and all students are encouraged to participate. It’s a fantastic way to promote safety, confidence, and fun — one splash at a time!
