Stanwood FFA is on a roll! Our talented students continue to make waves across the region this month.
The Agriculture Mechanics team placed 4th in state out of 31 teams, with standout performances by Joe Ramano, who took 1st place overall, and Carson Nuygen, who earned 4th high individual out of 155 students!
Our FFA Marketing Team — Hunter Sparrow, Stella Nelson, and Izzy Pederson — recently took 1st place at the District 1 Marketing CDE at Lynden High School with their presentation on Del Fox Custom Meats. They’re now headed to State!
At the FFA State Floral CDE in Chelan, Rachel Gatewood, Lexi Bramwell, Chloe Ricciardi, and Lavender Johnson placed in the Top 20 teams. They showcased their skills in floral arranging, one-on-one selling, greenhouse procedures, and more.
And at the District Leadership Development Events at Mount Baker High School, three Spartans are State-bound in May: Hunter Sparrow (1st, Extemporaneous Speaking), Stella Nelson (2nd, Extemporaneous Speaking), and Lily Chain (4th, Creed Speaking).
