A heartfelt thank you to the Stanwood Camano Arts Advocacy Commission (SCAAC) and its incredible volunteers for bringing creativity, color, and inspiration into our schools!
Through the Afternoon with the Arts program, SCAAC is once again making sure students get hands-on art experiences — this year focusing on 5th graders at Elger Bay and Utsalady elementaries.
One classroom at a time, students are engaging in a progressive art project led by dedicated local artists and supported by generous community volunteers. It’s moments like these — paintbrushes in hand, imaginations ignited — that remind us of the power of the arts in education.
