What a night! Families filled the Brick Road for the lighting of the city’s Ornament Tree, and our students were right at the heart of it — creating many of the handmade ornaments that brought the display to life Saturday!

A huge thank-you to the Community Resource Center, the City of Stanwood, and the many local businesses who helped make this celebration so special. We’re grateful for the way these partnerships create real opportunities for students to contribute to their community.

And the holiday fun is just getting started!

Our students will once again take part in the city’s Light Up Your Holidays celebration from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, near the Amtrak Station on 271st St NW. Student singers have been practicing their holiday pieces for the event, which also features food trucks, a holiday market, and plenty of festive cheer as the city lights its second community tree.
