Central Whidbey Island Fire & Rescue will be conducting acquired structure firefighter training on:
📅 March 21
⏰ 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
📍 Area of NE Pennington Loop, Coupeville
During this training, crews will be working in and around a vacant structure. Activities will include the use of fire apparatus, live fire training inside the structure, and the use of nearby fire hydrants.
Residents in the area may see smoke and increased fire department activity, which is part of this planned and controlled training exercise.
Training like this allows firefighters to practice critical skills in a realistic environment so we are better prepared to serve our community.
Weather contingency: If conditions do not permit, the alternate training date will be March 28.
