🔥 Hands-On Fire Extinguisher Training at Island Transit 🔥
Yesterday, our team had the opportunity to provide hands-on fire extinguisher training for employees at Island Transit. Participants didn’t just talk about fire safety, they practiced it.
Each employee had the chance to physically operate a fire extinguisher and put out a controlled training fire. That hands-on experience is key. In an emergency, confidence matters just as much as knowledge, and practice builds both.
Early action with a fire extinguisher can make a significant difference in preventing a small fire from becoming a major incident. We’re proud to partner with local organizations to strengthen preparedness across our community.

💬 We’d love to hear from you:
How many of you have had hands-on experience using a fire extinguisher, either in real life or during a training like this? Did it change how confident you feel in an emergency?
