The South Whidbey School District is excited to announce three finalists in the search for the next Principal of South Whidbey Elementary School.

Each finalist brings strong instructional leadership, a commitment to building relationships, and a dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive school culture. Notably, all three candidates are members of our South Whidbey Island community.

Following a thorough screening and interview process, these candidates have been selected to meet our school community. On Thursday, March 5, 2026, the finalists will participate in final interviews and an evening candidate forum where staff, families, students, and community members are invited to meet the candidates and share their feedback.

The Superintendent will carefully consider input from each stage of the process before making a final decision. We invite you to join us in person or via Zoom:
