Stanwood High School Theatre is proud to present Mamma Mia!, a jukebox musical celebrating ABBA’s most iconic music!
Set on a sun-soaked Greek island, “Mamma Mia!” follows Sophie, a young bride-to-be who sets out to uncover the identity of her father on the eve of her wedding. Without her mother Donna’s knowledge, Sophie invites three men from Donna’s past back to the island, sparking a whirlwind of laughter, surprises, and touching moments about family, friendship, and love.
This show is an explosion of Abba’s greatest hits with music and lyrics of Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus, with some songs written with Stig Anderson, a book by Catherine Johnson, and originally conceived by Judy Craymer. This production is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI), and all authorized performance materials are supplied by MTI.
The musical will be performed ay 7 p.m. on March 6, 7, 13, and 14 at Stanwood High School Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available online now and before the show at the door. Admission is $12 for adults and $10 for students.
