SOUTH WHIDBEY RECORD: Rep. Paul sets youth advisory roundtable
The South Whidbey Record published this announcement on Feb. 11, 2022:
State Rep. Dave Paul, D-Oak Harbor, will host a youth advisory roundtable on Wednesday, Feb. 16 at 5 p.m. This is the second roundtable held by Paul, and it is designed to gather feedback, discuss policy ideas and hear directly from young people who live in the 10th Legislative District.
They Said It
State Representative Dave Paul (D-Oak Harbor): “Our first forum was an engaging conversation that helped my office better understand policy areas of interest to the youth in our community….This is an opportunity for young people in our community to participate in an informal, roundtable discussion with myself and legislative staff and share their ideas and feedback directly with their representative. Our first roundtable provided valuable feedback about ways to improve mental health services for young people. I’m excited to give updates on our work in this area—and hear more ideas for how our community can improve mental health outcomes.”
[Ed. Note: As this was an unsigned article in the South Whidbey Record, and given the writing style of the announcement, we expect that this is a press release from Rep. Paul’s office.]
