South Whidbey School Board is looking for volunteers to write the Pro and the Con statements for the November 5, 2024 Levy Renewal Initiative.

Please email info@sw.wednet.edu if you are interested in volunteering to write the Pro or the Con statement.

Island County Administrative Rules for Local Voter Pamphlets, adopted in December, 2023 require that members of committees be a registered voters within the district proposing the measure.

The School Board will appoint the Pro and Con Committees at the July 24th Business Meeting.

Pro and Con Committee statements are due on August 16, 2024 to the Island County Elections Office for propositions on the November ballot.

This week, the Board approved sending the Capitol Improvement Renewal Levy and the Educational Programs and Operations Renewal Levy to the November 5, 2024 general election ballot. See:
