SOUTH WHIDBEY: Survey asks about superintendent search

Luisa Loi reports from the South Whidbey School District for the South Whidbey Record.
The South Whidbey School District is in the process of searching for a superintendent to replace Josephine Moccia.
Moccia has been serving as the district’s superintendent for 13 years and is set to retire by the end of the 2024-25 school year.
Community members are invited to take a survey that will help the district choose a firm that will conduct the search. The survey went live last week and will be available until a few days before the board’s business meeting on June 26.
[Ed. Note: The Record’s story did not include a link to the survey, and it is not readily apparent on the district’s website. However, we found this link, which leads to a survey that may be the one Ms. Loi describes.]
