The Stanwood-Camano School District posted this item in the news section of their website on Mar. 7, 2023.

The Stanwood-Camano School Board heard a report about Lincoln Hill High, Lincoln Academy, and Saratoga School — and honored a Shining Star from each school — during its regular meeting Tuesday, March 7.

Church Creek Campus principal Ryan Pike updated the board on the school’s annual action plan, goals, and results from monitoring their progress.

Afterward, Principal Pike honored Grayson Morin, Tayien Martin, and Miriam Hartell with the Shining Star Awards!

Also at the meeting, the Board heard reports from district staff about enrollment, and Risk Management Program Status. Find links to these reports on the agenda.

Additionally, the board approved a Proclamation recognizing the amazing work done by our Classified staff — Office Professionals, Paraeducators, Custodians, Technology Teams, Nurses, Maintenance Workers, Bus Drivers, and many more — for Education Support Professionals Week, March 13-17.

For more information about the meeting, see the agenda or see a video recording of the meeting.

The School Board then adjourned to a study session to discuss the Capital Facilities Advisory Committee’s work toward Elementary Attendance Area Adjustment.

The next scheduled School Board meeting is 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, in the boardroom at the Stanwood-Camano School District Administration & Resource Center at 26920 Pioneer Highway in Stanwood.
