RON MUZZALL: Every session in Olympia has a turning point. At the start, there’s no shortage of ideas. Everyone’s got a bill. As the weeks go by, the focus shifts to which ones are ready to move and which ones aren’t.
RON MUZZALL: Legislation sponsored by Sen. Ron Muzzall to crack down on reckless driving and make Washington roads safer continues to advance through the legislative process, and was highlighted in the governor’s State of the State address.
DAVE PAUL: I introduced House Bill 2325 to allow our industry to create a reliable, industry-led program to use their funds to promote tourism across the globe
DAVE PAUL: Sen. T’wina Nobles and I called for continued protection of college affordability, financial aid, and workforce training investments.
DAVE PAUL: Writing to you from Olympia as we wrap up the second week of this 60-day session. The focus this year is to address the impact of federal cuts that threaten the well-being of communities across our state, with the greatest harm falling on our most vulnerable neighbors.
DAVE PAUL: Over the last two weeks, I’ve had several, wonderful meetings with constituents from all over our district who came to Olympia.
