STANWOOD CAMANO NEWS: The Stanwood-Camano School District Board of Directors met Tuesday, July 2, to hear an update on the 2024-25 budget and discuss various policies and procedures.
STANWOOD CAMANO NEWS: The Stanwood-Camano School District renewed Superintendent Deborah Rumbaugh’s contract at a salary of $250,000, and approved administrator salaries for the 2024-25 school year.

Two Stanwood-Camano School Board members have been facing backlash due to comments they made at a school board study session Tuesday, March 19.
The Stanwood-Camano School District Board of Directors held a study session Tuesday evening to discuss positions put forth by the Washington State School Directors’ Association, which ultimately turned into an emotional discussion about diversity and equity, as well as the state’s role in local education.
Three members were sworn in to the Stanwood-Camano School Board during its meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 5.
