Below is a list of the Island County elected officials whose positions are on the ballot in 2025.
STANWOOD CAMANO NEWS: Public commenters and some school board members expressed worry over the existence of multiple Stanwood-Camano School District academic advisory groups at the school board’s Tuesday, March 4 meeting.
STANWOOD CAMANO NEWS: Al Schreiber will continue as president of the Stanwood-Camano School Board following reelection at the Dec. 3 school board meeting, alongside new Vice President Steve King and Legislative Representative Betsy Foster.
STANWOOD CAMANO NEWS: More than 600 people have signed a petition as of Friday morning urging Stanwood-Camano School Board President Al Schreiber to step down from his position.
STANWOOD CAMANO NEWS: The Stanwood-Camano School District Board of Directors met Tuesday, Nov. 5, to work on developing a districtwide cell phone policy.
The board also held a study session to discuss the Academic Advisory Committee, which was adjourned abruptly due to hostility between the board and attendees.
