CITY OF OAK HARBOR: Oak Harbor’s Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission handled elections, a student reappointment, Garden Club and Little League comments, urban forestry and Freedom Park updates, budget briefing, pickleball planning, and future habitat‑policy discussion.

The Oak Harbor City Council will hold their regularly-scheduled meeting on Tue., Feb. 17, 2026 at 5:30 PM.
WHIDBEY NEWS-TIMES: The council adopted a nepotism policy limiting relatives of elected officials from chairing or serving on certain boards, aiming to curb perceived favoritism after controversy involving one volunteer chair.
