The Whidbey News-Times reports: With a unanimous vote among the four participating council members, Oak Harbor repealed the resolution for a metropolitan park district to appear on the primary ballot. The Island County commissioners also repealed the resolution as part of the consent agenda with little discussion.
The South Whidbey Parks and Recreation District board of commissioners will hold their regularly-scheduled meeting on Wed., May 1, 2024 at 4:00 PM.
The North Whidbey Pool, Park, and Recreation District announced a nomination for Commissioner, Position 4 on their Facebook page and invited other interested candidates to apply.

The North Whidbey Pool, Park, and Recreation District board of commissioners will hold their regularly-scheduled meeting on Thu., Mar. 28, 2024 at 6:00 PM.
With a five-vote majority, the Oak Harbor City Council approved a resolution that supports adding a measure to the primary ballot to form the North Whidbey Metropolitan Pool, Park and Recreation District.
