Ten years ago, one of the original members of the Coupeville Thanksgiving Potluck Team reached out to Lisa Bernhardt and asked her to continue the tradition, as she and other members of the original group were no longer able to do so. So, three weeks before that Thanksgiving, Lisa took over the project; after all, how could she say no and disappoint the usual 150 people who attended?
We are very thankful for Lisa, who, along with her family and other volunteers, gives so much time, energy, and heart to this community. Coupeville would not be the same without her efforts.
