Mayor and City Administrator Combs are leaving Olympia with a sense of gratitude for the work our local legislators and the Association of Washington Cities are doing on our behalf.
They toured the Capitol and met with Senator Muzzall, Representative Shavers, and Representative Paul. During these meetings, they shared key projects and needs within our community.
They also heard from State Attorney General Nick Brown, State Auditor Pat McCarthy, and Office of Financial Management Director K.D. Chapman-See about current developments and the state’s plans for the future in response to changes from the federal government.
They are grateful for the meaningful conversations with legislators and other city leaders throughout the trip and are excited to share updates with the leadership team and City Council in Oak Harbor.
