A heartfelt thank you to Deputy Bud McCurry, our School Resource Officer, for his continued dedicated service to all Stanwood-Camano schools and the greater community. Deputy McCurry works tirelessly every day to create a safe, welcoming environment for our students and staff.
The role of a School Resource Officer is truly unique within law enforcement. They serve as informal mentors and counselors, law educators, and law enforcement officers, all while supporting the students and communities they serve.
