The Voter Interests Project (VIP) celebrates our 1000th post. Since our inception in Dec. 2020, VIP has provided links to news stories about elected officials and government agencies, video recordings of public meetings and candidate forums, and other information about how local government in Island County. We’ve posted email newsletters from officials, candidates and local political parties. And we’ve reported on the bills and committee hearings involving our 10th District legislators and campaign finance for candidates in Island County. We also publish a newsletter summarizing the week’s events with commentary from VIP’s Executive Director, Allen McPheeters.
We’re also proud to announce the opening of our YouTube channel, now featuring the AAUW’s Candidates and Issues Forum 2022.
