Diversity means that all belong-regardless of your abilities, gender, race, differences or similarities with others. Equity means that all deserve the chance to thrive and succeed. Inclusion simply states that we are a welcoming community and welcoming schools. Island County Board of Health sent letters to all our school districts to affirm their support of educational policies where all our children find a place of belonging, a welcoming space, where each child can get the resources they need to thrive. It looks like those values are important to our State also.
