WASHINGTON, D.C. RECAP FROM MAYOR WRIGHT
Last week, City Administrator Combs, Deputy City Administrator Goldman, and Grants Administrator Horn were in Washington, D.C., working to build valuable relationships and advocate for the needs of Oak Harbor. FOCUSING on our city while in Washington, D.C was our number one priority as many of the key issues I’ve been asked about in the last few months were a priority because these are the issues that will directly impact Oak Harbor and our taxpayers.
This trip was definitely not a vacation but a strategic opportunity to advance Oak Harbor’s priorities on the federal level. I am proud of our team and the discussions we had because these face to face discussions could result in funding and legislative changes for our community.
