State Representative Dave Paul (D-Oak Harbor) posted this to his Facebook page on .
Career and technical education programs teach academic and technical skills for jobs that are in demand in our state and across the country. Washington wants to help students pay for those programs so they can get out into the workforce equipped with as little student debt burden as possible.
Every year students pursuing career and technical programs across the state are invited to apply for the Washington Award for Vocational Excellence (WAVE) scholarship. WAVE honors Washington’s top career and technical education students.
The scholarship helps pay for tuition, books and other qualified expenses – up to $3,900 per year or $7,800 over two years, depending on the college or school attended.
Learn more about this opportunity at the link below. The application portal is open until Monday March 10th.
