We honor the brave men who stormed the beaches of Normandy 80 years ago today. These courageous soldiers demonstrated bravery, sacrifice, and love of country that few can understand. 4,414 Allied soldiers were killed on the beaches of Normandy, 2,501 of them were Americans. While each soldier took their own unique path through life that led them to Normandy that day, they all shared one thing in common. They are all heroes🇺🇸
