We’re proud to celebrate three Stanwood High student musicians who have earned selection to this year’s Washington Music Educators Association All-State ensembles — an honor reserved for some of the most accomplished young musicians in the state.
All-State selection is highly competitive. Students submit recorded audition excerpts that are reviewed by expert musicians and educators from across Washington. They will spend May 28-30 in Tacoma, rehearsing alongside peers from other districts before performing in a culminating gala concert.
Please join us in congratulating:
🎵 Jovee Holmes — All-State Philharmonic Strings, violin
🎵 Ramona Reed — All-State Philharmonic Winds, tenor sax
🎵 Nataleigh Torres — All-State Concert Band, oboe
Their selection reflects years of dedication, discipline, and a willingness to strive for excellence — the very qualities we aim to nurture through our Strategic Plan as we empower students to grow their talents, pursue their passions, and challenge themselves at the highest levels.
Please join us in celebrating these students for representing Stanwood High and our community!
