When we go on a call or return back to service, we call dispatch to report our status.
Today ICOM 911 did a retirement radio call for former Chief Yengoyan. The call is a way to publicly thank the Chief and informally recognize his official transition from in-service status to out-of-service-for-retirement status.
Congrats, Chief. Enjoy your well-deserved retirement.
