WHIDBEY NEWS-TIMES: House passes ban on certain police use-of-force tactics

The Whidbey News-Times printed a story from the Washington State Newspaper Publishers Association (WNPA) about House Bill 1054, which just passed in the House. The bill bans “the use of choke holds, military equipment, and most types of car chases by law enforcement”.

HOW THEY VOTED: Both Rep. Greg Gilday (R-Camano Island) and Rep. Dave Paul (D-Oak Harbor) voted against the bill.
