They Said It

Jessie Stensland: Voters should support the incumbents islandwide. They are open and proud about their records, as they should be. For the Oak Harbor School Board, that’s John Diamond and Erik Mann. On South Whidbey, Marnie Jackson, Ann Johnson and Andrea Downs deserve to be reelected. The picture is a little different in Coupeville, where there are two open seats on the board. Nancy Conard and Morgan White are the right people for those positions.

On the Ballot on November 2 – Coupeville School District:

  • Position 2 – Nancy Conard vs Paul Rempa (Venessa Matros incumbent not running)
  • Position 3 – Sherry Phay – Incumbent, running unopposed
  • Position 5 – Ward Sparacio vs Morgan White

On the Ballot on November 2 – Oak Harbor School Board:

  • Position 4 – Incumbent John Diamond vs Jessica Thompson
  • Position 5 – Incumbent Erik Mann vs Jason Uemoto

On the Ballot on November 2 – South Whidbey School Board:

  • Position 2 – Incumbent Andrea Downs vs Dawn Tarantino
  • Position 4 – Incumbent Marnie Jackson vs Farrah Manning Davis
  • Position 5 – Incumbent Ann Johnson vs Bree Kramer-Nelson
