WHIDBEY NEWS-TIMES: Port of Coupeville seeks new commissioner

The Port of Coupeville is seeking a new commissioner for District 3 after Commissioner Patrick Kennedy announced his resignation from the board.

Anyone interested in filling the vacancy may reach out to [Executive Director Chris] Michalopoulos at executivedirector@portofcoupeville.org or 360-222-3151. Potential applicants must live in the port’s third district and be at least 18 years of age. If multiple applicants come forward, the board of commissioners will conduct interviews to select Kennedy’s replacement.

“He did such a great job. He was such an advocate for the Greenbank Farm,” Michalopoulos said. “He’ll be missed.”
