You’re invited to the next meeting of our Budget Advisory Committee at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, in the District Boardroom.

This session will include a review of the district’s previous year-end financial position, a look ahead to the upcoming budget year, and an overview of the Safety and Infrastructure Levy now in development. We’ll also welcome special guests from our Teaching & Learning department, who will provide insight into their work and explain how categorical funding supports student learning across our schools.

Did you know we have several opportunities for citizens to help shape the future of our schools? There’s still time to join our Academic, Budget, and Capital Projects advisory committees (the “ABC Teams”). These community-driven groups bring together staff, families, and local residents to provide guidance on district priorities:

🔹 Academic Advisory Committee — Collaborate with educators and Teaching & Learning staff on curriculum, instruction, and student learning.
🔹 Budget Advisory Committee — Work alongside school leaders to review funding priorities and support responsible financial planning.
🔹 Capital Projects Advisory Committee — Provide input on facility needs, safety improvements, and long-term infrastructure planning.
