Districts 1 (outlined in yellow) and 3 (outlined in orange) are up for re-election.

Two candidates filed their intent to run for District 3: incumbent Commissioner John Callahan, and newcomer Angela Ewert.

There will also be two candidates vying for District 1: Mary Ann Burr [Ed. Note: Marianne, not Mary Ann.] and Bradley Duncan.

The Port’s Board of Commissioners are volunteer roles, and we are thankful for all those willing to serve!

Coupeville Wharf Pile & Cap Project to Begin

Once the busy summer season winds down, work will begin on the Wharf Cap & Pile Project to reinforce the foundation.

This is the next step in the major rehabilitation of the Coupeville Wharf.

Following a competitive RFP process, a contractor has been assigned. Work will begin this fall. Minimal disruptions are anticipated for public access.

We will soon be seeking bids for seismic upgrade work. You can stay up-to-date on this, and other projects on the Port’s website “Projects” webpage.
